HOW TO TEACH ANYTHING TO ANYONE

1. Introduction: secure the students’ attention and relate the skill to their real lives so that they will actually want to learn what you will be teaching.

2. Teach the new skill, being sure as the teacher to model the skill for your students.

3. Practice it with your students. Most of us know this as guided practice, in which the teacher and students practice together.

4. Let them try the new skill on their own.

5. Review what has been learned by having the students tell or show what they learned.
