What is the purpose of life?
The purpose of life is to teach us to become like God!
The roadmap we’ve been given is the Gospel and, more specifically, the Beatitudes …
concluding with the goal – “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48)

For those who follow this roadmap, trials tailored by God still come, to fine-tune our learning. For those who do not or will not follow the roadmap, additional trials will come to chasten them and (hopefully) bring them into that straight and narrow path … the path leading to our ultimate goal – eternal life.

It's that simple.
