A brief thought: "Repent."
There is hardly anything mentioned more often in the scriptures than this one simple admonition. ... I wonder why?! (I suppose we all KNOW why. It may have something to do with the fact that we have been "advised" to be perfect ... to make our "calling and election" sure ... and how many of us have reached that "point" yet? ... I suspect none of us, yet. And we all know that the "process" is repentance! Having overcome the sins of commission, we move on to overcome the less "weightier" sins of omission. One of the best talks by a General Authority on this subject was given by Elder Neil A. Maxwell. I recommend reading it for an excellent review/reminder of this basic gospel principle.
