Enriching Lives through Online Training

For years I had prayed to Heavenly Father to help me find whichever church He preferred, not realizing whether there was only one true church. He had answered so many of my other requests … and eventually this one too, after I had been in college a few years. It took being a member a year before I fully realized this church was the answer to my prayers! Ever since joining on August 23, 1971, I received answers to questions no other church could give me … and my understanding has been increasing ever since … along with receiving numerous blessings (including my wife/children!). I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is, indeed, Christ’s true church, restored once again to prepare the earth for his second coming. I know the Book of Mormon is, indeed, the word of God … a second witness, along with the Bible, of Jesus Christ. I also believe as Joseph Smith stated: "I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than any other book." I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, as is Gordon B. Hinckley today. I have been so excited and humbled that Heavenly Father revealed these things to me and enabled me to receive the associated blessings, that I can’t help but share it with all who will listen (and even a number who turn out not to be so receptive)! I feel so much as did Alma when he exclaimed: "O that I were an angel, and could have the wish of mine heart, that I might go forth and speak with the trump of God, with a voice to shake the earth, and cry repentance unto every people! Yea, I would declare unto every soul, as with the voice of thunder, repentance and the plan of redemption, that they should repent and come unto our God, that there might not be more sorrow upon all the face of the earth." (Alma 29:1-2)
